Commercial-only business ProTech does not service single-family residential customers. If you are a residential consumer, this policy is not intended for you.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information from business contacts who interact with our website, forms, and services:

  • Contact information you provide: full name, business name, work email address, phone number, facility city, industry/vertical, and free-form details about your pest issue when you submit a form or request an inspection.
  • Attribution and traffic data: UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content), paid-advertising click identifiers (gclid, fbclid, msclkid), referring URL, landing page URL, visit count, and visit dates. Both first-touch (90-day cookie) and last-touch (24-hour cookie) attribution are recorded.
  • Device and session data: browser user-agent string, device type (mobile vs. desktop), approximate screen size, and — if Google Analytics is active on the site — a Google Analytics client ID.
  • Service records: if you become a ProTech customer, we retain on-site inspection notes, treatment logs, documentation requested by your audit program, monitoring data, invoicing records, and authorized facility contacts.
  • Automatically collected server data: IP address, timestamp, request path, and HTTP response codes logged at the web host level for security and troubleshooting.

We do not intentionally collect special-category personal information (health, biometric, precise geolocation below city level, financial account numbers) through this website.

03

How we use information

We use the information described above for the following business-facing purposes:

  • Responding to inspection requests, quote inquiries, and service questions from commercial facility contacts.
  • Scheduling, delivering, and documenting on-site pest management services for active accounts.
  • Producing audit-ready documentation for your health department, Joint Commission, AIB/SQF/BRC, ISDH, or corporate third-party auditors — in the format your program requires.
  • Following up on open inquiries by phone, email, or automated SMS (see Section 4 for SMS-specific disclosures).
  • Measuring which marketing channels produce commercial leads (attribution analysis), and operating paid-advertising campaigns at the aggregate level.
  • Improving the website experience, diagnosing technical issues, and protecting the site against abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share commercial-contact information with unrelated marketers. We do not rent email or phone lists.

04

SMS and automated communications (TCPA disclosure)

Express written consent required before automated SMS When you check the SMS consent box on a ProTech form, you agree to receive automated SMS/text messages and automated or pre-recorded phone calls from ProTech Pest Control at the phone number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any ProTech SMS to opt out of further messages. Reply HELP for help.

ProTech uses automated SMS follow-up to:

  • Confirm receipt of your inspection request and acknowledge your submission.
  • Reach you to schedule or confirm an on-site walkthrough.
  • Remind active customers of scheduled service visits and follow-up appointments.
  • Send service-completion confirmations and documentation links.

Opting out of SMS does not affect your right to receive service from ProTech through other channels. If you opt out of SMS, we will continue to contact you by phone or email as needed to service your account. You may revoke SMS consent at any time by replying STOP or by emailing stephen@protech-pest.com.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS message content, short-code or long-code origination number, and delivery are provided through our third-party telecommunications and customer communication service provider under a standard business service agreement.

05

Cookies and tracking technologies

Our website uses first-party cookies and standard web tracking technologies to understand how visitors use the site and to measure marketing performance. Specifically:

  • Attribution cookies (named pt_first_* with a 90-day lifetime and pt_last_* with a 24-hour lifetime) capture which marketing source, campaign, or referring URL brought you to the site. These values are attached to any inquiry form you submit so we can see which channels generate commercial leads.
  • Session cookies track visit count and last-visit date so that repeat business visits can be recognized.
  • Third-party analytics and advertising pixels (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads, Microsoft Ads) may be loaded on this site to measure conversion performance. These set their own cookies governed by their respective privacy policies.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not break core site functionality but may prevent accurate attribution of your inquiry to the marketing source that brought you in.

We honor standard browser "Do Not Track" signals where feasible. Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals are also honored for the narrow subset of information that qualifies as a "sale" or "share" under applicable state law — we do not "sell" personal information as defined under those statutes, so GPC signals have limited effect on our processing.

06

Who we share information with

We share business-contact information only with the following categories of recipients, and only to the extent required to operate the services you requested:

  • Customer relationship and communication service providers that operate our email, SMS, CRM, and form-submission pipelines on our behalf under standard business agreements.
  • Website hosting, analytics, and advertising platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads) that process aggregated traffic and conversion data.
  • Payment processors and accounting systems for active commercial accounts, to the extent required to invoice and receive payment.
  • Your own authorized representatives — for example, your facility's compliance team, corporate auditor, or third-party audit firm, when you request that we share service documentation with them.
  • Legal and regulatory authorities when required by law, subpoena, court order, or government investigation.

We do not share your commercial-contact information with unrelated marketers, list brokers, or third parties for their own marketing purposes.

07

How long we keep information

We retain information for only as long as needed to operate your commercial service relationship, meet audit and regulatory documentation requirements, or comply with applicable law:

  • Inquiry submissions that do not convert to service: retained for up to 24 months for follow-up, then purged unless the contact has opted in to further communications.
  • Active customer records: retained for the duration of the service relationship.
  • Post-service records and service documentation: retained for up to 7 years to support audit, compliance, warranty, and tax recordkeeping requirements.
  • Attribution and website analytics data: cookie-level data retained according to the lifetime disclosed in Section 5. Aggregate analytics data retained indefinitely.
  • SMS opt-out records: retained indefinitely to honor revoked consent.
08

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS on all ProTech-controlled forms and portals), access controls on internal customer and service records, vendor agreements that require commercially reasonable security practices from our service providers, and routine review of authorized user access.

No website, database, or internet transmission is fully immune to risk. If we become aware of a security incident that materially affects your information, we will notify affected business contacts in accordance with applicable law.

09

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your information, subject to our legal, audit, and recordkeeping obligations.
  • Opt out of automated SMS messages at any time by replying STOP.
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send.
  • Contact us with any concerns about our privacy practices.

To exercise any of these rights, email stephen@protech-pest.com with the nature of your request and enough detail to verify your identity as a legitimate business contact. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe consistent with applicable law.

10

Children's privacy

This website is a business-to-business site intended only for commercial contacts. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information on this site, please contact us at stephen@protech-pest.com and we will promptly remove that information.

11

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal obligations. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes (such as new categories of data collection or new sharing practices) will be clearly flagged. Continued use of this website after any update constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy.
