A commercial-only pest control company, focused on Indianapolis-metro operators.

ProTech Pest Control Inc. is an Indianapolis-based commercial pest management company. Owner-operated, 100% commercial, and built around the compliance calendar your facility type actually has to live with.

  • Owner-operated · in-house technicians only
  • Aprehend® certified commercial operator

What We Do

Commercial pest management — and nothing else.

ProTech is a commercial-only pest control operation serving the Indianapolis metro. That distinction matters. Most pest companies split their week between residential and commercial, treating commercial accounts with the same playbook used on a homeowner's kitchen. Commercial operators — restaurant GMs, facility managers, property managers, compliance officers — need documentation, scheduling, and treatment decisions built around audit calendars, health department inspections, and guest-occupancy constraints. That's the work we do exclusively.

Every service visit is performed by an in-house ProTech technician. No subcontractors, no rotating national-chain roster, no regional manager three states away. Our accounts stay with the same small team visit after visit — so the notes carry forward, the facility gets known, and pest pressure is addressed before it becomes an inspection finding.

ProTech is Indiana-licensed, Aprehend®-certified, and commercially insured. Credentials alone don't prevent pests — operational discipline does. That's what the company is built to deliver on every commercial account we run.

Meet The Owner

Stephen Hill.

Owner, ProTech Pest Control

Stephen leads the Indianapolis operation and personally handles every new commercial account — from the initial call through the on-site walkthrough, written plan, and first service visit.

New ownership, same commercial discipline. Stephen recently acquired ProTech Pest Control Inc. and is running the business as a focused, commercial-only operation for the Indianapolis metro. The brand's track record of Aprehend® certification, in-house service, and commercial documentation continues under his ownership — now with direct accountability to a single on-the-ground owner rather than a regional or chain structure.

Direct-to-owner commercial service. Every new commercial inquiry is handled by Stephen personally. That means the person walking your facility, scoping the plan, and quoting the price is also the person whose name is on the company. No sales rep hand-off. No account transfers six months in. No call-center queue when something changes on site.

Operational focus. The day-to-day priorities are unchanged: commercial-only service, in-house technicians, audit-format documentation matched to whatever inspection cycle your facility runs (Marion County Public Health, surrounding-county health departments, Joint Commission, AIB/SQF/BRC, ISDH, corporate third-party), and a month-to-month service model with no forced long-term contracts.

How We Run Accounts
Commercial facilities only

We don't service single-family residential. 100% of our attention is on commercial operators with audit calendars.

In-house technicians, no subs

Every service call is performed by a ProTech employee, not a subcontractor or national-chain rotation.

Audit-format documentation

Reports formatted for the specific inspection cycle your facility runs — not a generic one-size-fits-all log.

Month-to-month service

No forced long-term contracts. Longer written agreements available when procurement or audit programs require them.

Honest pricing

Real ranges published up front. Firm written quote within 3–5 days of the on-site walk. No teaser rates or surprise upsells.

What Makes ProTech Different

Why commercial operators across the Indy metro pick a focused local shop over a national chain.

Six things national pest-control brands can't structurally offer, regardless of what their marketing says.

01

100% commercial focus

No residential side calls pulling the schedule. Every hour of our week is commercial pest management — so the judgment calls, product selection, and documentation are built for operators with audit calendars, not homeowners with a wasp nest.

02

Published pricing · firm written quotes

Most commercial pest sites hide pricing behind a contact form. We publish real ranges on the Free Quote page and deliver a firm written quote within 3–5 days of the on-site walk. No teaser rates, no surprise upsells, no negotiation games.

03

Aprehend® certified

One of the short list of Aprehend® biopesticide certified commercial operators in the Indianapolis metro. For hotels, senior living, and multifamily operators dealing with bed bugs, that certification means rooms and units don't go out of service during treatment.

04

Owner-operated, in-house only

No subcontractors, no rotating national-chain roster, no hand-offs to regional hubs. Every service call is performed by an in-house ProTech technician, and the owner handles every new account personally.

05

Licensed, insured, Indiana-compliant

Indiana pesticide applicator licensed, commercial liability insured, and versed in the documentation requirements of Marion County Public Health, surrounding-county health departments, the Indiana State Department of Health, and the audit programs commercial operators actually live with.

06

Audit-format documentation

Reports formatted for whatever inspection cycle your facility runs — health dept, Joint Commission, AIB/SQF/BRC, corporate third-party (Ecosure, Steritech-equivalent), ISDH, multi-unit portfolio rollups. No spreadsheet wrangling on your end when an inspector asks for records.

Our Approach

How we actually work an account.

01

Inspect, don't assume

Every new commercial account starts with a full on-site walkthrough — exterior, interior, mechanical, storage, dock, roof access. We map actual pest pressure, entry points, and conducive conditions specific to your build-out before proposing anything.

02

IPM-first methodology

Integrated Pest Management isn't a marketing word — it's the framework. Sanitation review, entry-point exclusion, targeted low-toxicity treatment, monitoring, documentation. Not spray-and-pray.

03

Document the way your auditor wants it

Service records are built in the format your specific audit program recognizes — health department, Joint Commission, AIB/SQF/BRC, corporate third-party, ISDH. No spreadsheet wrangling on your end.

04

Refine over time

Commercial facilities change — new menu, renovated dock, added service line. The pest program adapts. Active accounts get recurring plan review built into the service — because pest pressure two years in doesn't look like pest pressure on intake.

Credentials & Standards

The licenses, certifications, and standards we work to.

What separates a professional commercial pest program from a technician with a spray tank — on paper, and in practice.

Indiana Pesticide Applicator License

Active Indiana Office of Indiana State Chemist (OISC) pesticide applicator licensing. Every technician on site operates under current Indiana licensure.

Commercial Liability Insurance

Full commercial liability coverage. Certificates of insurance available on request for accounts that require them for vendor onboarding.

Aprehend® Certified Applicator

Certified by ConidioTec for Aprehend® biopesticide application — the EPA-registered biological bed bug treatment. Rare credential in the Indianapolis metro.

FDA Food Code 2022 Framework

Service methodology and documentation aligned with the FDA Food Code 2022 framework adopted by Indiana — the standard health-department food-service inspections work from.

IPM Methodology

Integrated Pest Management is the operating framework for every account. Sanitation-first, low-toxicity, threshold-based, documented — the standard corporate third-party audit programs require.

Commercial Audit Documentation

Service records delivered in the format your specific audit program requires — Joint Commission, AIB/SQF/BRC, Ecosure, Steritech-equivalent, ISDH long-term care, Marion County Public Health. Multi-unit portfolio rollups available.
